Football Fun Continues for Favre

Seventeen seasons, or more than three average NFL lifetimes into an unforgettable career, Brett Favre doesn’t think much about entering the Hall of Fame. He just knows where he’d like to be if it happens.

"It would be a tremendous honor to be voted in," he says, "but I'd rather do it via satellite or have them send me a jacket or whatever they do and just stay at home."

With Favre of course, it’s long been a matter of when not whether, and the timing is pretty much up to him. He’ll have to stop playing first, and he’s enjoying himself too much to do that. But the fact that he’d prefer to skip the fuss says something about him that no one would have thought when he got to Green Bay.
