Greg Jennings

Anyone who knows the first thing about Greg Jennings' personality would have known the answer before asking the question. There was no way he was going to morph into one of those nickname wideouts-"T.O." or "Ocho Cinco" or whoever-and start proclaiming himself the greatest wide receiver in the National Football League.

Was there?

Of course not. As the Green Bay Packers fourth-year wideout listened to the question one day earlier this summer, you knew there would be no I-am-the-greatest proclamation forthcoming.

But you could also see that he had a little mischief in mind. Greg, do you consider yourself a "star" receiver? Just for a second, he broke character, from the humble, down-to- earth team-first guy he's known for being.

"I am," Jennings said, struggling to keep a straight face, "pretty awesome."

He was kidding. But he was also right.…
