As our organization turns the page to a new year, we do so with a lot of optimism. With a new season almost upon us, the excitement for 2009 continues to build after an admittedly very difficult 2008.

This past year, the Packers were challenged on many different fronts. From the Brett Favre situation to a sub- .500 record to the downturn in the economy, it was like a perfect storm. But we weathered it, and I'm proud of how the organization faced those challenges. I believe we emerged from them well-positioned for success in the future, and hopefully that future begins now.
